the airlines one, sucks, that's why I wouldn't fly with a pet. you never know the conditions in the hold.
the cop one. OMG so many things come to mind that you would want to say or do. but mostly it brings up the fact that cops should not be able to judge cops behavior. anything a cop does should be reviewed by a separate dept all together. bad cops seem to be becoming the norm rather then the exception. they need to be reigned in before they get completely out of control on their little power trips. so i guess the cops wife just sat there and watched huh? proud of her man for defending their dog from playtime. |

What a tragic day for the families/owners of the dogs.
What a shitty and misleading thread title too.

There's a follow up article on the dog shooting, the police have reversed their stance of "no crime" and are investigating further. I hope the guy at least comes in for some form of charges. If he'd tried to interfere in a dog fight, he'd have bites or wounds to prove it and all the witness statements for the dog he shot are 100% against his protrayal of the animal.

This reminds me...have you heard anything more about the cop who shot that family dog in Oklahoma? Pulled into their drive way (apparently out a rural farmhouse)....dog ran up to the cop....he had time to get back in the car...but chose to stand there and shoot the dog anyway. Apparently his brother was riding shot gun with him that day. Wasn't it you who posted that thread originally? |

I about shot a dog the other day in the Smokies that some morons had leashless near a creek I was fishing and it came at me. Some dog owners need to learn what rules are, you aren't allowed to bring your dog onto 99% of the park trails or anywhere backcountry. Go walk your dog in fucking gatlinburg.
