Not sure why you are using Enterprise...... They and Hertz have the highest rates.

I just did a search on Southwest.com, and you can pick up a car at Atlanta airport and rent it from Thursday through Sunday for $100 flat. I know you're not in Atlanta but it shouldn't be hard to find similar rates no matter where you are.

Because they cant afford the computer to search for the good deals, the bus and train are historically considered cheaper. Plus who wants to take thier drugs through the tsa security?

Caveman made the train trip from Detroit to Milwalkie... it was super cheap.. like $80 the night before.
