But rumor has it, one of the other guys is going to come back from vacay a day or 2 early to give me a day or 2 off. We'll see...

I was 'supposed' to be off today but had to work but will be off all of next week...heading to the mountains for a few days.

Last weekend we rode the bikes up to the NC mountains and found some really cool roads to ride with light traffic and leo's. Hit up a 40 + mile loop with over 400 curves...several switchbacks and s-curves...had a blast.

Whoa ...where are you going? I was going to do the Gap with the gte but she has to work. I have Sun and Mon off... If you can stand the company, I'd do a ride with you.

Shooting is not a bad way to spend some time.

Just saw this.

Went to the Linville Falls area but was caging it in the Jeep since we took the dog so we could run him through the woods while hiking and such. Had been riding in the mountains the weekend before.

The cabin we were staying in off of Hwy 183 hand no WiFi and even limited cell service but luckily had satellite tv since it was the beginning of football season.

Almost no one around the cabin...mid to upper 40's temps at night...nice fire in the backyard...VERY nice for a few days.
