Default U.P. Trip

As outlined with TONS of pics on my TWM site
http://www.twowheelmichigan.com/show...re-PIC-EXTREME

And yes I smoked a deer at about 65mph and went down HARD!!

The entire deer accident thing is still surreal and I can't help but to feel lucky to be alive. Not many can say they hit a deer at about 65mph and walk away with 2 scrapes....

As I said in my thread on TWM... I'm not sure if it was pride, ego, or sheer determination... but I said only mins after the crash when we realized the bike MAY be rideable... I said with my belly and calf rashed... I'll ride that motherF**** home if we can get it rolling. Please realize... we were about 10-11 hours and 500 miles from my house. I knew this but damn...

This was a big off by any definition. and man it could have been way worse!!! We all got so lucky. Lucky it didn't take out Don, because it still would have taken me out, and maybe at that point the other bikes behind us if we blocked too much road. We could have been on one of the narrower roads. There was no on-coming traffic. Lots of ways we got so lucky. I think I burned one of my 9 lives.

Anybody here that truly knows me, I will rebuild the bike better than ever!!

Damn, glad you're ok, Chris. Sorry it had to happen but now you have the chance to do new stuff to your bike.

All things considered, the damage to the bike isn't that bad. It's good to hear you were able to ride it off. I've been thinking about nabbing a deer siren as well, and now I feel even more inclined to do so.
