Sorry, I honestly don't have any... after I came home from the Army, I was storing stuff at my step-mom's and there was a fire. All my pics, knick knacks from around the world, etc. I was out of town when it happened and my bitch of a step let the clean up people throw all of my stuff away without even looking at it... I have exactly one picture that's older than 1997... Oh well.

Modern medicine rocks.
1993 had DR tell me had non hodgkins lyphoma with 50/50 chance. Boy did that take wind out of me. Lucky for me had great insurance, received second and third opionions at teaching hospitals for treatment. Since happend to be young in my 20's still healthy, went with strong treatment of CHOP chemo. Know what it feels like to puke for 24 hours straight after chemo, loose hair, joint pain. What really sucked was Dr visits to Oncologists, seeing other sick mostly older patients, who mostly died. For me been cancer free living normal life for last 16 years. Still see same Oncologist every four months. Even play golf with him from time to time, talked him into buying Z06 vette for track use. If your younger cancer very curable, older another story. Good luck, enjoy life. Last edited by jetskifast; 10-13-2009 at 05:07 AM.. |
