seat wants to till pelvic region forward = tank crushes your "equipment", especially when you hit bumps?

O ya. The new Z1000 is beautiful.

Rain rain go the fuck away. Had to buy me a frog rain suit at academy. Man, I hope it clears up tomorrow.

I just got back from buying my own '09 ER-6N. I'll have the Givi bags by Tuesday, but the mounting hardware might not be available until May. This might not be a big problem overall, but the bike I'm getting doesn't have the passenger grab handles. They were removed to give to another customer, who had issues with his.

I got money off the price, a shop manual, and a Dowco cover for buying this particular bike, but it would be nice to have either the grab handles or the 650 Ninja style inserts for now until I can get the bags mounted. If anyone has an idea where I could reliably get either, I'd appreciate it.

I pick the bike up on Wednesday night.

mrcycles.com has Kawasaki microfiche and list the grab handles being for sale. I don't know if they are in stock or not. The part numbers shown on the fiche are 46095A/C for right side and 46075/B for left. In the parts list it shows 46075 for LH and 46075 for RH. They are also listed at around $60 per side with another $10 or so for mounting hardware.

Thanks, that gives me another option. I could go for the inserts that are used on the Ninja 650, for considerably less. They'll be coming off when the bags get mounted anyway.

Sorry for no updates. She's resting in my storage until I get the title over to my name. I don't want to get pulled over or something happen and the previous owner is still on the title. That would make me a jerk wad.

I'll post pics/vids/naughty pics/and naughty vids asap.

OK, there's something wrong with that. It means that I got to ride mine, before you did. Rode it into work today, as a matter of fact. I've got the Givi V35 cases sitting in a box just waiting for the mounting hardware to arrive, so that I can mount them, and working on ordering an Elka shock.
