So! Get off yer ass and build it!

My next street bike will be a streetfighter. If my budget allows it will be a KTM Superduke. If not then it'll probably be a frankenbiked DS1000. I want a v-twin.

I am seriously considering doing just that.

I test rode a Superduke in Suches when they were doing their truck show.

I HATED the FI system. The mapping is awful. Light switch on or off.

When it ran, it was ran like a raped ape, but the throttle response was very snatchy. The handling was fantastic.

I have heard that about the fueling on the bike. If I have the dosh to swing the bike then I'll probably get a nice system and a Power Commander, hopefully that'll take care of it. WP suspension is top shelf stuff, my KTM handles great.

I like the Super Duke. I really need to get down to the dealer to demo one.

I need to find out when I can demo one, I still haven't ridden one and it's killing me!

Those are nice bikes. This guy was pitted across from me at Jennings last month:

He ran mid 1:20's on it.

Yeah, the record is a 1:14.5 on a GSXR1k and most AMA level racers run mid to high teens. Anything faster than a :27 is expert pace. Mid :20's is pretty damn fast, my best is a :29.8
