Wrong, Rolex made quartz watch Purchased one in 1985 at Amersterdam duty free shop. Lost that watch while jetskiing, band link broke.

Quaility watchs well worth money, last you lifetime Back in 1987 purchased his and hers Rolex's with rare diamond star burst blue dials. Paid $9000 could sell these watchs on ebay for $18K today. Sure Rolex every 5 years costs $350 for service. If you do buy Rolex. Do not buy any after market parts, such as dials or bezels. No autherized Rolex dealer will service your Rolex.
Keep your Rolex stock with Rolex parts, enjoy life time watch
