oh, understood, but most gear gets its reputation from the track and icon is relatively new and is just now in the last 3years realy stepping up to the plate and knocking out the good stuff. Takes a little wile to get the funds to do the r&d needed to put out great stuff and they've achieved it.

Hello all, I figured I would post up in here as there seem to be several ICON fans in here.

I seem to like Icon's stuff, and most of it seems cheaper then the Astar gear that I would really like to get my hands on when I have the money.

Have any of you seen the Domain 2 Mechanica in person? I liked the graphics on it on Icon's website but the photos on kneedraggers.com seems to show a much more colorful impression of it. I would like to see it in person, or find first hand pictures of it but I can't seem to find it in stores or on any forums.

I don't really know why I like the helmet so much. I was a big fan of the Decay with the skulls and stuff but at this point I figure everyone in my age group will order something cool with skulls on it and I just thought I would try a different route. I like to think that the white/silver would help with visibility as well.

Thanks guys.

Well, I got my Icon Auto mag leather pants a couple days ago and I have to say....wow! They are Fucking nice! They are ALL black and relax fit with boot cut legs. I will take the look of over the boot against tucked in any day!!! Just to be fair,I ordered the A* 's Rodeo jeans. They have removable leg armor which neither Draggin' nor Icon have. We'll see how much I like them when they come in!

Back to the Auto-mags,the leather is very thick and well put together. The legs zip-up to the hip for easy removal. They have a zipper in the back so they will attach to any Icon jacket. BTW they provide you with both sides of the zipper, just in case your jacket didn't come with one. You can have it attached. They have gathered knees and that "spandex" stuff at the back of the knee for breathing and flexibility. Outstanding pants and perfect for street riding and with the CE approved armor,it's my opinion that they'll provide extremely good protection in a crash!!

It's looking like they are going to be next on my list, thanks for the added word on them.

I saw them in a mag for the first time yesterday, and they had me intrigued.
They do have a zipper... that's good, didn't say anything about a zipper...
How do they fit? Is there some sort of adjustment in the waist area on 'em?
Thinking about these for overpants...
Last question, what you pay for 'em and where you get em?
thanks.

Also, my local dealership just started carrying full line of Icon gear... this is good.
Bad thing is they quit carrying Shoei helmets...
I really liked my shoei... guess i'll have to buy online now.

I paid $200 otd. They have a "strap" at the waist. If you want them for overpants. Order your normal waist size,if not go one size smaller.

UPDATE: A* rodeo pants are FUGLY! and they use pads instead of hard armor, which are flat and make you look like you're wearing catcher's shinguards!!! Thanks anyway,I'll just keep dealing with my Icon Field Armor leg guards under my regular jeans!!
