yeah, everyone should know to pull over for a funeral no matter if it is a soldier or citizen. Just a matter of respect.

Wow. She's got some major gall. What a disrespectful bitch.
Major kudos to the Sherriff for his response. |

Good for the Sheriff.
I agree, motorcycles were probably PGR. Plus one being his Uncle. |

and that's what they do... they help escort... when someone isn't paying due respect... if that means cutting the procession or protesting... they interviene... now if they were yelling that may be a little much... but being that one was his Uncle... and a vietnam vet... I'd be yelling too. used to be that you'd stop for ANY funeral procession just like you would a fire truck, ambulance, or cop with it's lights and siren on. now... it's just another inconvenience.... sad state our society is in... |

We had a similar episode locally, a few years back. Some asshole wrote a scathing letter to the local newspaper about some USAF F-16s that were flying low, near one of the malls. The complainer was calling them Tom Cruise wannabes, etc. and being a total prick, just like this bitch.
Well they were taking part in a missing man formation to honor a fallen military member. The nice thing is, once he was ripped a new one and made aware of what an asshole he is, he wrote a public apology for his behavior. |

yeah I remember reading that one... though that one I could KIND of understand the mistake... very easy for him to not have known that that formation was for a funeral...
this lady is.... blah... not worth the energy to type |

[QUOTE=goof2;263993]While that would be nice I doubt it happened. Anyone willing to make multiple calls then email the sheriff because they were inconvenienced by any funeral procession, much less a military funeral procession, isn't likely to have much shame. I suspect this bitch is trying to take it higher up the "food chain". I hope she gets no traction.
unfortunatly I bet you're right. She probably won't even realise what a terrible wench she was being |
