Very true...Pre-"Big C", I was always stressing stupid little problems but now I hardly ever get upset about anything. I just let it come and wash over me as if my skin were made of Teflon, nothing sticks. Bad things still happen, I got a speeding ticket (have to pay $600 and do 40 hrs community service), they changed computer systems at work, GF, etc but now I understand that if I have a pulse, things could be much worse. All wrongs can be made right with patience, determination and hard work.

yeah I can't imagine how quickly that'd make you rearrange your priorities... I'm thankful it didn't take that for me to see "the light"

in the end I realized that at the end of the day... I need to make ME happy... and my happiness isn't dependent on what someone else does/doesn't do or says/doesn't say.

not to get on a soap box... but I think the world... but our country in particular, would be much better off if our self-centeredness was "does it really affect my happiness"... not "how does this inconvenience me?"

anyways... back to drewpy's topic...
I'm thankful for: (in no particular order)
My girlfriend and her kids
My Family
My Job
My Freedom

? I've gotten a ton of help from ppl on this forum. They've helped me raise my bike up answered questions and have ridden with me. There's no sarcasm there.

Oh my fault! Besides, I'm sure that you're mostly referring to the female side of the forum as I very rarely see you post over here... Anyway, sorry about that.

I'm still thankful that my cheating ex-girlfriend isn't on here. She did try to find me on the old forum, though. That would just suck!

Yes it does but she got hers in the end, so it's all good!

Yikes topic.

Okay, I'm thankful for my new GF, new job, decent health, new TV! (jk), I guess I'm just thankful for my overall sense of well-being and peace.

I'm thankful for my family and friends waiting for me back home, and for all the support they have shown be on this deployment.
I'm thankful for my military family here with me, making this time more enjoyable.
I'm thankful that I am in a "safe and secure environment" so that I am not being shot at or worried about incoming rounds and IED's all day.

And lastly, I'm thankful for as they are gods gift to man.
