Actually it sorta makes sense, More people have been hurt and died from being run over at night than have been shot on a base. Since the madatory PT belt was implimented pedestrian accidents at night has virtually dissapeared.

But yeh it looks stupid.

Yea and I saw a guy run over by a tank but I still don't want to wear a reflective shoot me sign around my waist!!!

i always wondered how in the hell you can miss a tank? m1s aint THAT quiet. not up close and if it was a 60 theres zero excuse

It's surprising what you can sleep through if you're tired enough and if you're used to the noise... Besides, the way the sound carried, it was sometimes hard to tell where anything was.

Didn't know about the stripes - sounds like a regulation from the same jokers that came up w/ requiring moto-vests on base.
