The VFR line also is known to have bad R/R problems. I'm not sure of fit or ease of connection to the Madura, but alot of the VFR community refers to the Yammie R1 R/R as the best option. They have big cooling fins that let it bleed off heat like the stock VFR unit didn't.

I've heard the nickname as well, mostly from elitist v65 owners. Everything I've read from actual owners and vintage reviews have been fairly glowing with exception to fuel range. But at 2k or less I see no downside to trying it out

Im well aware my friend they are however unsuitable on the grounds of ridiculously inflated market value and being a yamaha in general

Might have an interested party for the cbr (and the Nsx!) Unfortunately all the gv1200s in the area seem to have dried up :I
