Was and I guess till is a big problem in maryland, there has been a few tv documentaries about them. I think they were planning to or maybe poisoned an entire lake to kill them out of fear of them getting into the potomic river and realy wreaking havoc.
problem is these things have no natural enemies here so they prety much proliferate unchecked. Also I am not sure if this species of snake head is the same we put in aquariums. They are badass but I had a blue channel catfish actualy kill one in my tank. |

I think in all fairness a blue cat is the great white shark of fw .... ain't shit they won't eat. period

A buddy of mine had 2 in his tank years ago - they were completely insane fish. They'd kill and eat just about anything. They eventually died but were insane for a while.
