Good looking lid, Tig. I'll post a review of my scorpion after this weekend.

I just bought a new helmet too, but it's a boring black Shoei Multitec flip-up. My Nolan was getting really stinky so I figured it needs a break. A LONGGGGG BREAK!!!

Nah it's ok,it doesn't want to let me install my radar detector setup easily but otherwise it's ok. The visor mech is "clunky" and the shields are "pro-fog" as opposed to anti-fog! Here's a pic...can you tell I'm getting the hang of "attaching" photos?

I picked up an Akuma at a local dealership and was shocked at how heavy it was in comparison.
Hmmmm...I just picked them both up and they seem similar. All the reviewer marveled at how "light" the Akuma was. I'll get a scale later and test it out for shits and giggles. Anyway, weight isn't the only way I evaluate a helmet.

Thanks! Do Scorpion's come with a chin curtain now? That is my only complaint with the Scorpion, too much air came in under the chin. Chin guard fixed it right up.

I dig my ac-12 I got a year ago. Light, comfortable, breathable. The aftermarket visors suck though. The stocker is great for fog so whatever hjc puts on those visors is great, but the aftermarket from motorcyclesuperstore.com sucked.

This is retarded but HJC offers some of it's visors in nofog and regular configurations. Who wouldn't want no fog? I have a gold chrome (reg),a smoke(no fog),a smoke gradient(no fog) and a high visability(no fog). I think you just need to get a smoke no fog and you'll be happy!
