Ducati 848 is nice but funds aren't even close.

I thought about a Triumph 675 but some said it dosn't feel much faster than a normal 600. So it will probably be a GSXR750 when I do get another one.

As for the 1000cc V-twins. I rode my buddy's RC51 and loved the power and snap but really wasn't a huge fan of it. Felt heavy and turned odd to me. Then we raced to about 70mph and I maintained the lead until then. After that he walked away from me but I rarely go above 100mph.

It'd be nice if they came out with some 700-800cc sport bikes but I guess Suzuki will be it for a long time.

The Duc 848 isn't really that much more than a 600. Hell the race editions are getting their asses spanked by the 600RR across the pond.

I'd love it if Yamaha would bring back the R7 or make an R8. Eh, who am I kidding? You guys know I won't be buying anything nearly as soon as I really want.

I'm with you smittie, the 750 is the perfect size motor for me. I'd love it if the big 4 came out with an 800cc bike. I want something with tons of low end grunt, but I don't want to have to get a 1000cc vtwin to get it. I want something super light, loads of torque and wont kill me in insurance. I dont need to go 180mph, so the idea of a I4 liter does not fit with what I want. I also dont want a 600cc bike that doesn't hit it's peak power unto 9 million RPM. The Duc 848 is probably the closest thing to what I want followed by the GSXR750.

I have better lap times on my 748 than my 998

Though, given the choice between a twin, triple or I4... I would take anything but the I4

Sounds like you need a supermotard.

Zuk would be the last motard I would buy, they are severly lacking in power.

Here's a few good companies.
KTM
Husky
Aprilia

Only negatives are small fuel cells and they wind out at just over 100. Not very fun at interstate speeds.

Me too. I've got zero interest in another I4. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I NEVER own another I4.

You just need a newer red edition I4.

It's kinda funny how some things change. I started out of a twin and now love I4s. I wouldn't turn down a duc if the price was right though. So I won't say I will never own another twin.
