Thanks for the pics. Been awhile since I've been over that way, still like Tiger stadium better than Comerica park.

I loved the atmosphere and the old time feel of Tiger Stadium, but Comerica is so beautiful and really celebrates the team and its history. I would love to get some bleacher seats from the old park tho. Gas should have taken Marko to Flint if he really wanted to see a shit hole. Saginaw just had the V.P. go through today...really fast! And Marko, if wa want hills and curves, the area around the middle of the state(Owosso and Morrice area) and north of Bay City, go up the east side and over to the Traverse City and Empire, Cadillac areas are nice and twisty with elevation changes. Just gotta head north.

We didn't go over that way.

ANd I wasn't looking to see shitholes so much as I just wanted to see Detroit since I've never been farther west than Cleveland...and that was 20 years ago.

People only think of Detroit when they think MI. Detroit is a shithole, as was mentioned. If they only knew that most of the state from Flint north is virtually uninhabited except for whitetails, lakes, wonderful forests and black squirrels. But that keeps the shitheads from Ohio where they belong, south of the MI line.

I heard there are no longer any national grocery retailers left in Detroit. is that true? It's weird. It looks like there are some interesting things in a shithole of a town.

Nash Finch still delivers to Detroit, I think there are some grocery stores, like IGA and Michigan has a few big chains, like Kessel. And I have always thought Flint was worse, you are not safe anywhere in Flint, in Detroit, there are safe places to visit and not feel threatened at all times.
