Prohibition does not work. More Americans use marijuana, percentage-wise, than Dutch. Conservatives complain about the nanny state yet your first sentence is the essence of the nanny state.

By legalizing it they will then be able ot sue the producers because,of course its thier fault they became addicted and destroyed their lives.

Like cigarettes?

I think that only happened because they lied about it's affects. If the companies are up front and put warnings on the labels, i don't see them getting sued.

Not sure about alcohol but there was the big one against the tobacco companies.

Would be funny if all these idiots just sued the cartels instead and they sent their "legal" teams to settle the matter
