Trade the yogurt for cottage cheese, tuna or a scoop of protein.

I'd skip the almonds then before your workout and go with another scoop of protein and the banana pre-workout.

Maybe you're talking about juice that says "from concentrate" on it. I only buy pure juice (not from concentrate).
They're not serving you concentrated juice directly. The oranges are juiced, and then the water is removed, so it's cheaper to store. When it's ready to bottle, they add water and sell you orange juice. You'll see the words "from concentrate" on most ready-to-drink containers of OJ.

Orange juice that is concentrated and then reconstituted loses even more nutrients than juicing alone.

Again, nothing beats whole food. Typically, the fewer steps there are from growing to eating, the better it is for you.

OJ was invented for convenience, not nutrition.

I'd take a whole orange over 1/3 cup of OJ any day.

Again, I only buy juice that says fresh squeezed, not from concentrate. It's not that hard to find.

And good luck peeling an orange every time you're thirsty. Yeah that'll rack up the cash outlay.

You can only drink so much water or milk before it's boring.....You have to drink something else. And at least OJ is better for you than beer.

Why would you have one with eggs?

Id say 2 servings. Either pre or post workout, and then before bed. Or get some casien(dairy) protein before bed.

Almonds are good with some protein source. Just not sugary carbs prior to working out. The fats in them help slow digestion of protein while a carb is a more immediate source of energy for the body, which in turn will save/store the fat in almonds as excess.

Not true. And if you are trying to cut weight, why waste the carbs/cals on a drink.

Because he's not a pro, so he doesn't need to cut weight by an exact date that he needs to worry about a glass of OJ doing any major damage to his goals.
