yeah the new toy's all have the "progressive" frames... fully boxed up front dual wall... then just fully boxed.. then C channel under the bed... fuck'n retarded imo...

my 87 has a fully boxed frame and 1'ton rated axles... they OVER ENGINEERED my truck... that's why it's lasted. I'd love to see what my truck would do out there... though it's so light it'd probably be pitched around something fierce... the new ones I'm not overly impressed with as they've done away with the mind set of building the truck to last forever in every aspect... but in terms of reliability I'll still buy a Toyota over any domestic out there.

they all come up invalid... but your probably talking about the top gear episode... where they burn, flood, wreck, roll, drop a trailor on it, and demolish a building out from under it and still drive it.
