Since Bono would probably have been a better president than Bush, the glasses are ok.

I actually have a medical condition that has rendered me extremely sensitive to light. I wear a dark pair of Maui Jim's everywhere I go, even in uniform. My helmet has a tinted visor on it even at night, and I almost never turn the lights on in my house. I very obviously have an issue because any time I have to take them off I end up fumbling around with my eyes closed, but people continually ask me about it. Every asshole I meet wants to crack a vampire/Riddick/X-men joke as though they thought they were original. I'm not whining, it's part of my life, but I love when some dickhead thinks seeing me is a cue to sing a Corey Hart song and become the life of the fucking party. So before you start assigning people to the douche tribe maybe you should ask them a question, and by doing so assign yourself to said status. Or, you could just stop worrying about other people as it doesn't really matter to you.
As for Bono, I'm not aware of any medical issue like mine, it may just be a result of douchebaggery. However, I resent being painted with the same scrottastic brush.

However, this does not change the fact that Bono is the poster boy for pretentious, self-important douchebags, and should take off his fucking sunglasses. |

I guess it's ok for a chick to wear them, since wearing tons of accessories is just something that chicks do naturally, but for a guy? |

I should have known it was more a question of fashion than decorum
