My wife calls it my mistress...the one with the fat ass.
(When I first brought the M109-R home, she walked all the way around it...arms folded across her chest...and said..."Your new mistress has a MUCH fatter ass than your old mistress" and walked inside. It was wicked awesome. ) I had a GSX-R750 immediately prior to the M109-R. |

Yup, she's named Scarlet. Um, nothing deep or personal, it's just a reference to her color.

Naming of inanimate objects......
Everything has a name so what difference does it make? Names just make it easier to distinguish things. Even if all you called your bike was "The Gixxer" you still in essence gave it a name. Discuss. |

No name for mine other than "the R1" and "the R6" or sometimes "the red one" and "the blue one"...that's about it.

I never named anything and secretly made fun of my step-mom who named her Miata.
Then I got Lucy. Don't know why really but she has a name and I'm not really sure where it came from. It just is. |

OF course mine have names. What a silly question to ask.

It's name is Piece. It has pieces from 8 other bikes on it, and occasionally it's a POS.

I didn't name mine, but I've heard a few of the guys I ride with refer to it as my BROOMSTICK.
The FZR was called Frankenbike because it has so many other bike parts on it. p.s. I love the polls with Tater's whore of an ex wife option. Always my favorite. |
