I'll remember that next time I'm out mowing the lawn and one of those things are out there...

Ok, probably not.

Hey, I'm always sticking up for GSXRs so I guess we all have our crosses to bear...

Btw whatever she does, she should make sure not to kill black snakes because they kill and eat venomous snakes!!!

Actualy where she is if she kills a black or an indigo snake she will get in trouble since theyre on the endangered species list. I just dont know if they live that far north.

Grandma needs a kick in the azz for killing a scared little baby deer with a shovel.

"How about when it grows up and blah blah blah"...then shoot it.

All it would have taken was a phone call, to the local authorities and they could have addressed it, either by humanely euthanizing it, or removing it to a shelter to be released back into the wild.

I am of the party that thinks she should have gone running for the camera. I know I would have. But Im a tree hugger.

Incidentally, last time I saw a 6 foot rattler, I went running for my camera.

Last time I saw a pygmy rattler and a bobcat I was pissed I didnt have my camera.

Regardless of the creature, nothing deserves to suffer if someone feels the need to kill it. That was torture and needless. Its not like it was going to attack her. This is the same to me as killing ants with a magnifying glass.

Next time someone in the "kill it with fire" camp is readying to kill another creature, try taking a moment to ask yourself "what has this thing done to me or mine that it deserves to suffer and die"?
