I have a Nikon L1 that's several years old... nice but doesn't have vibration reduction. it's 6.2 megs and here's some pics it took...
you should be good with just about every camera out... I'd stay away from the ones that have all the bells and wistles... like touch screens and shit. something 6mp+ is MORE than enough. and you may look for something waterproof... just incase shit happens and you drop your camera in a puddle. just my |

Yeah I don't want to spend that kind of money on a p&s. Thinking about the Canon A1000IS for under a $150
