I told my hubby I wanted to ride my bike today (especially since he had to take my car) and I needed his help putting it back together...one of his coworkers is making me a custom bracket made for my NEW speedometer!

He told me one of the bolts I HAVE TO HAVE to ride is at his work.

That is my current situation.

I tried to beat the weather, but failed. A few days after a snowstorm, the streets are clear, but I can't ride. I live in an old neighborhood with a common alleyway down the middle of the block, and I live in the middle of the block. The alley is on a slope that faces north so it's iced up most of the time.

After the last snow I shoveled one tire track so I would be able to take a bike out of my garage. I thought I was pretty smart. Except the snow that melted ran down the shoveled tire track and froze each night. It was more icy in that tire track than the rest of the alley.

I did threaten that. But actually I am afraid that if I ride his bike (with is a 97 750 versus my 92 600) I will want a faster bike.

I had the gf ride my 1125 once, and I have no worry of that.

first she was scared of the response vs her SV.
second, it was before the reflash, so it ran like shit below 3K
and finally, it wasn't comfortable.

so I have no worry of her stealing it.

I am at the point where I feel like I could be confident on a faster bike...but I love my bike so much that I do not want to chance it.

That is awesome. I think I remember you telling stories about your first time on the highway. Congrats.
