I've learned that I'm getting slower and my gf is getting faster! She has lots of raw talent and under the right conditions, with proper training, could give any girl and most men a run for their money.

I learned that riding 1,000 miles in a day on a WR250R isn't all that bad.

Actually, mine would be more like: Learned that a 9 year old water resistant jacket is not water PROOF. Learned that there is no such thing as "not enough room for rain gear" as long as nature can find enough room for unexpected rain storms.

Well, Saturday I learned several things:
Harleys taking a header into compact cars lose the fight. Illegals (be it immigrant or no insurances) are POS's and I hope they find the effer that took off while said harley rider was still IN THE CAR. Small town cops/amber lamps drivers/firefighters are an interesting bunch, especially when they all grew up with the hubby. Monsoons are only fun to watch from the porch or house, not ride in with no rain gear. (Felt and looked like we were riding through the movie Twister, I kept looking for the cow.) Tree branches hurt when flung off overhanging trees in monsoon winds. Sharing adventures with friends is never dull. Oh, and I make one helluva emergency nurse since I carry everything for extracting glass, grit and stopping bleeding and can use it too! |

I've never had a single issue with mine. No jams.
