The reason for me is this, the busa would be a good all aroundre as my tastes change over the years.

The RC would fit my style right now.

I'm looking for an SV650 for a long term bike right now. Cheap, reliable and does it all.

Assuming you have to pay insurance and maintnence (kicking the Europe bikes out). I'd probably go with the GSX-1300r. I'd really be torn with a RC51 since I'd want that V-twin grunt and sound but I think I'd rather get ridden by a rabid donkey than ride a RC51 for a long periods of time for 10 years.

Yes, either by a radio upgrade or what I will do is by GPS into the MP3 player input.

True plus the fact that most RC's are higher mileage bikes that are already a few years old and may be tough to maintain and ride for 10 more years...if one actually puts some mileage on them in the future.

I've had my SV for 6 years and I plan on going for at least 10 with it (and beyond).

Same here. I honestly love my bike! I could have bought a new bike when I hit the deer last year but I have mine like I want it so why change? I guess if someone else were buying, I'll take a MV Agusta F4 320 in black please...
