Wow. He faces up to 11 whole years....for paralyzing an unarmed young man for life. He'll be out in 5 years, and probably be fairly well protected while he's in the pen. He won't even get raped half as many times as the average citizen would if imprisoned...if he even gets raped at all.

This case and punishment is a clear illustration of how America continuously progresses into a police state frame of mind.

If the Harley rider would've shot the cop....how much time do you think he would've gotten?

Well at least he wont have to sell off everythig to cover his medical expenses once his insurance runs out. I dont know at what level his cord was damaged so its hard to say how much function he has lost.

I have seen drug dealers and other lowlifes get similar sentences up here and are back on the streets commting crimes so that can swing both ways.

The cop will prolly be in some sort of protective custody, which can be as bad since he will more or less be in solitary. they lethim out in witht he other animals he will be killed in a day.

Swing both ways? There is a very large difference between purposely and maliciously causing injury to someone that directly results in paralyzing vs. selling drugs to a willing buyer. There is no comparison there.

There is an even greater difference between the two when considering this specific case as police officers are supposed to be trustworthy NOT to kill or maim innocent people.

BTW, I did not know that some people who are paralyzed below the waist can still get hard. Interesting.

The prison system does nothing to protect decent America citizens who's crime did not result in injury or death from being raped, tortured and so forth....why should this fucking pig be any different. As someone who was trusted by the public to send people to the place he now faces it only seems to reason that he should face the same punishments they did.

Ok how bout the drug dealer that kills afew people because theyre associated with one of his enemies. Plenty of innocent bystanders getting shot and killed up in these parts.

Are you saying you know of a specific case where a drug dealer killed a few people, was sentenced to prison for murder, and got out in under 11 years?

there have been a few cases uere guys were back on hte streets after getting sweet deals only to commit worse crimes. I have no desire to go looking for them though as I am not all that interested, but the papers up here jump all over stuff like that when these guys get out after serving no time and are back at it again.
