OK, you have a shit-ton of Mexicans, and maybe some Chinese & Vietnamese......big deal. I can guarantee you that NY has more Italians, Irish, Israelis, French, Greeks, Russians, Polish, Jamaiicans, Puerto Ricans, Africans, Persians, Ukranians, Romanians.......you name it. A lot of those people wouldn't even be counted as a minority, but they certainly contribute to diversity.

Italians? Old Italians...maybe. Everyone else is a poser
Irish? They are the backbone of our illegal immigrant population
Israeli's? Normal ones or the creepy guys running scams.
French? There are French people around here? there are a lot of out of work actors working restaurants with fake french accents but not that many.
Greeks...Diners. They have that locked down
Jamaicans? Yup...I try and stay out of those neighborhoods.
Puerto Ricans? Yup...stupid flags and crap hanging from the rear view mirror
Africans? Free newspapers, sidewalk venders and cab drivers. That and Doctors. There is no middle ground. You are either a Brain surgeon or you sell train pass holders.
Persians - I know a couple of cool Iranians. good people. NOt a lot though
Eastern European - All over the place.
