Here's another good link, along the same lines, but doesn't go so far as shooting: http://www.safeism.com/pdfs/SNContacts.pdf

Hmm, I've never met anyone who does this. Even among hardcore gun enthusiasts with 10-20 guns who shoot once or twice a week.

One gun was bad enough....everyone with a gun blasting away at the same time? Whole bunch of innocent people shot for nothing. Fucking Police can't shoot straight and I'm gonna count on some CCL wanna be bad ass to not cap me on accident? No thanks.... More guns isn't the answer no matter how hard you try to rationalize it. |

While I doubt I will change your Bias, factually the police for a number of reasons are some of the worst shots you will find (this excludes special response teams) I have on multiples of occasions had police instructors tell me if you have to be shot at by someone let it be a cop. The average CC holder practices at least 4x more often than than patrol officers. That said I have an immense amount of respect for the people that put a uniform on that makes them the target of fear and distrust. Then is expected to treat the same individuals that called them names with Respect and Dignity

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7pGt_O1uM8 Does anyone else also notice that were there are less restrictions on how you can transport a gun in your car the more polite drivers are? People's attitude change when they aren't quite sure wether you have a gun and how mentally stable you are vs knowing that 99% chance you don't have one.
