I had an Oktoberfest before I left the states. Really wanted to compare, but no dice.

I've still got a few Sam Octobers in my fridge. And some Pumpkin Ale.

Yay I got "real" german food today, we got to go out and about for dinner. Sadly, no dice on beer, so I had my jagerschnitzel with a cola.

And wow what a difference it is here over in Germany. Makes me want to cry all the bikes I see out and about, with mine tucked neatly away back home sleeping the year away.
Saw A LOT today in town. And something I've NEVER seen before. EVERYONE was wearing a helmet AND a jacket, EVEN the scooter riders. Saw a group of 8 bikes pull up and every one was wearing helmet, jacket, gloves, boots and some type of motorcycle pants, most being leather. It was awesome to see, how can we get that mentality over in the states? Oh and LOTS of motards too. |
