Paypal rant/questions
So, trying to pay for something using paypal and my credit card.
It says that the only fudning method available is echeck but that's linked to an old bank account that I no longer use. Can't use credit card. I finally call Paypal to get it sorted and figure out WHY I can't use my credit card. The only thing chippy on the phone can tell me is that their "security flagging system model" won't let it go through. Can't tell me why. Can't offer a solution. I ask if a lower amount will work. We try it. No luck. So at the end of the conversation, she can't explain why it won't work, she can't help me, and apparently I can't use paypal with this credit card. ARGH!!!! Rant off for today. Thanks for listening. |

No shit.
I've been having tons of problems with Paypal lately. First, my account ended up locked (with over 200$ in it). Called, they said at one time I had a negative balance and they locked it? WTF, I had just added 200, and there was 7$ in it before that. Then I tried to add a Credit Card, and guess what? Exact same problem as you. The only answer they had was 'Maybe its a Canadian CC'... Its a fucking Mastercard you tards, 16 digits, a security code, and an expiry date, like every other motherfucking mastercard on the fucking planet. A couple of days ago, I transferred the cash back to my account, once thats done, I doubt i'll ever use paypal again.

All I got was the runaround on the phone without a clear answer. She just kept saying "our security model". Well what the hell does that mean? Your security model flags things for $100?!?!
So now I finally got it to work for $100 but can't get the rest to go through!!!! I'm going to blow a gasket over here. |

I remember reading a whole bunch of negative shit about paypal when CF first started(or maybe it was the SBN days), and since I read that, I have never chanced it.
Money order, Credit Card, etc seem to still work for me.

I've never had a problem with this before.
And it's something I'm buying on this forum actually. So just trying to send it to someone and for me credit card is the easiest way. So now I've paid for part of it...but can't get it to go through for anymore. |

Never had a problem with Paypal. It's linked up with my checking acct. I've never given them a credit card.
