Kat told a story in Indy about walking out and finding some woman holding her son on Kat's bike. Kat told the woman to give her the keys to her car. The woman asked why. Kat sat she just wanted to sit in it. The woman said her son was just curious about Kat's motorcycle. Kat responded with, "I'm just curious about your car. And if I ever find you putting your son on my bike again, i'm going to assume you're trying to steal and I'll call the cops." I agree completely. I'd be PISSED if I came out and someone was sitting on my bike. I bet those guys wouldn't like to come out to the parking lot to find someone on their bikes. So why the fuck were they sitting on Rossi's bike? BTW, that bike was also on display at the Yamaha tent at Indy. |

Does it seem strange to anyone else that that expensive ass bike was left like that. Left on an open trailer and in a unsecured area. When I saw Stoner's bike a few months back they said it was worth $750,000...I would imagine Rossi's could not be too different money-wise.

That was another bike captain, they were still towing the bike behind the fiat during the day. I would of climbed on the bike too though. This wasn't an individuals bike, but a race bike owned by a very rich team and there isn't much opportunity for anyone to get on a bike of this caliber even if it is just to sit on it.
I would have been very tempted to take that home as a collectible with no security at all on that sucker.

I don't know...regardless of whom or what entity owns the bike,I have a problem with them uncovering it,sitting on it,etc. Taking pictures of it,I can see and if they would have found the guys and asked if they could sit on it and get some pics.... IDK....

I think that would have been a serious test of your moral's. Shit with word so easily getting around I simply cant believe it was still there when they came out in the morning! All those bike nuts in town... Come on.
If the guy said go check it out fuck it. Why would you even think twice. Once in a lifetime chance and boom a very cool memory. Crazy indeed! Nice find on the post and thanks for sharing!
