Damn water! ! ! !
God dammit! ! !
I HATE Condensation! ! ! My Bike has been locked up in the Trailer since i last started it (10-25) Which is also when i painted it. . . Hasn't been started or out since But my damn tank if full of water AGAIN! ! ! ! Isnt there some way to keep this from happening. . .or atleast slow it down? Its really starting to piss me off. . . .

drain the tank, and fill it completely with gas and stabilizer. the less air space there is in the tank, the less condensation can form.

and in the spring run all that fuel out, and I'd suggest getting your tank sealed so you dont have to worry about rusting out.

Ill probably end up draining the tank this weekend if its not to cold and order some of this Stuff http://www.caswellplating.com/aids/epoxygas.htm and do it over the winter inside. . . .so i dont have to do it when its nice and i can ride

A full tank all winter long is how us winter storage peeps keep the water out.
I normally drain mine and pour in in the company mini van come spring, my company van can burn that E-85 crap so I don't think winter gas will hurt it. I do run it through a strainer when I drain it but have ever found much. There is a stainer/funnel that they sell that can seperate water from fuel I have been looking into cause I have been having trouble with all the gas additives cloging pilot jets this last few years. Never used to happen. |
