Default Tigger's boinking a squidette

I mentioned this in the GF Gear thread... this is how my gf shows up to ride. I am by far not a gear nazi and will occasionally go with out my jacket/boots depending on destination, weather and type of ride but I had to tell her that jeans are mandatory on any ride over a very casual moped-like pace. Hopefully, things will change when she gets her own gear Fri.

Man she needs to finish doing the laundry if she wants to go anywhere with me!!!

Actually I was taking her to class and she was running late so excuse excepted...this time!

I'll file that information in the Spank Bank. She has a nice hiney too. Congrats on a fine lady, my friend.

If she wouldn't go as far as wearing a jacket and some over pants I wouldn't even bother making her change into jeans...they're about as protective as a pair of cotton panties.

This is my leg after a wreck, my jeans came apart as soon as I made contact with the pavement leaving my bare leg to slide along.

I was on a cane for two weeks after that! Its also worth mentioning that this was on rollerblades. I shudder to think of what it would've been like if this was a 40mph+ motorcycle wreck.

I was gonna say . . . you insist on jeans? They aren't really any better than the shorts she has on right now.

Why even wear any gloves, when her elbows and shoulders are gonna get torn up.

and here come the gear nazis...

Bottom line for me will always be that it's her body, so it's her decision what she wears or doesn't wear. I put the little incentive for jeans... but in case you two don't know this... jeans are what most riders wear to ride. Um... where in the fuck have you been? Since when are jeans not "good" enough to go riding in? Do you two REALLY make your passengers where full leather suits to ride? GTFO! Shit, I wear jeans to ride, as do everyone else I ride with. Hell, I can't remember the last time someone showed up in full leathers to go on a normal ride...

Oh and just in case you don't know...here it comes... I'm 44 years old and have been riding since I was a kid! If I felt like doing some scanning, I could post MUCH worse pictures than that little bit of road rash there buddy! My hand has been almost cut in half, I have pins in my hip, have had knee surgery and my arm was skinned down to the bone! I've seen two guys lose legs and one guy lose a foot. I've seen guys paralyzed and I've seen guys die. You don't have to tell me what can happen in a crash, I've done my time in the hospital as a patient and in the waiting room. No matter what, something is always better than nothing IMHO. We all decide what our risk level is going to be and we will be the ones that have to deal with it. I have literally seen gear nazi types engage in other "dangerous" pursuits that I wouldn't engage in, Like drinking, smoking, etc so....

I knew that there would be some that would take this opportunity to get in a few "licks" and that's cool. I certainly don't mind an argument now and again. To be honest, I'm doing good with her because if it were up to her, she's wear a bikini and flip flops to ride. Shit, we went to the beach on Memorial Day and that's exactly what she came down the stairs wearing... I made her put on some shorts, a shirt and some shoes at least.
