Trying to find an Eaton M62 off of one of these vehicles at a non-rideculous price.

My bro had a 200X frontier with the V6. It was a decent engine but lacked power when you're going 70 and needing to pass someone quickly.

Unless your brother wants to have to put premium gas in it, along with getting crappy mileage to boot, I'd suggest he doesn't. I knew that when I bought mine but it seems many people don't think about that.

That's just the end result. Depending on the year of his truck, he may need a new hood to accomodate the added height of the blower. He'll also need to have the 3.3L V6 specifically, as this is what the SC is fitted for. Not to mention a new ECU, new timing belt, wiring harnesses, etc.

So....does he REALLY want to do that?

Its not for a frontier. It's for me on a project.

Same thing. In any case, I have seen lots of people talk about doing it on the Xterra forum but not one has posted they actually did it. Seems like it's just to much work and cost for the net result.
