If you can afford the M6 you can afford a ferrari just not a brand new one. Mantaining a ferrari will hurt the wallet alot worse than the BMW though. Ferrari maintanence is definitly not a myth.

The 2000 360 Modena is in that price range. If I'm right that your M6 was about $80000 after your discount.

But I don't want an old Ferrari. I wanted the 360 Modena back then. I don't want it now. Besides, I seriously doubt that I would consider taking that car for anything but a day trip. Cross country trip is out of the question on a Ferrari unless you're a millionaire and can afford a tow job when in the middle of bum fuck egypt.

A friend of mine bought an early F360 prob. around 6 months ago. He got a steal of a deal on it, I forgot if it was $70 or $80K. He's making it up in maint. and repairs, which have totaled about $22K so far!

If I was out shopping with that much money for a new and fast car, I'd probably get a new Z06, no it doesn't have the bling of a Ferrari, But as long as GM is open it will have a warranty.

I know but I was just pointing out that a 308 wouldn't have been your only option. BTW I love your car and I would be happy with it. I know your not a car guy and don't really care but I'm not sure if you can find one car that can do everything you want to do with a car.
