I turned down an offer for a 2002 Aprilia RSV with 10k miles and a 2008 CRF450R for my AR-15, 10 mags and 2k of M855 ammo.

Shit's gettin REAL yo!

I can't access it because of the work filters (adult, swimsuit, weapons, youtube, etc.) but, have you seen the 40,000 round comparison of steel vs brass? Some site bought 4 bushmasters and ran 10,000 dedicated rounds through each. One gun got federal brass. Another got Tula steel-polymer-coated. Another got Brown Bear steel laquer-coated and there was another brand I can't remember. In the end, they cut the barrels in half lengthwise. The brass was still serviceable. The others were in varying degrees of useless. However! They said for the cost savings, you could buy two barrels and still save money by using the steel ammo. They did not discuss extractor wear though but, had no problems that I recall. They had to use a different gun for the Tula as it had different pressures and required a different gas orifice size but, overall, all the ammo did great but, not as great as the Federal brass.
