This actually happened to a very good friend of mine . . . well, except he didn't even have sex with the woman. She was trying to cover up for cheating on her boyfriend (with some unknown party) and told her bf that my friend raped her. He immediately called the cops and got the whole ball rolling.

I don't know what her sentence was for lying, but yes, she got in trouble and of course my friend got off, but oh what a mess the whole ordeal was.

Agreed, but the problem is a lot of women will wash off the physical evidence, then finally confess to it months later. Women just need to educate themselves that if they do get raped, you need to get to a safe place first, then a hospital. Then when at the hospital let them take care of you.

However I've heard so many women claim to be raped, I can't take it seriously. It usually starts off with "I was raped, someone slipped something into my drink". And by slip something "into my drink", she means I drank 18 shots of tequila then fucked a random guy. I've heard a lot of women claim to be raped, I know of only one who was literally raped in the classic sense and this happend to her at 12.

Seems like every deployment I've been on has this happen. Some chick gets with a dude and bangs him for a couple of weeks, then when the story gets out and she doesn't want to look like a whore, so all of a sudden this guy gets rotated out so she doesn't have to be around him or she gets to go home early. Now someone else gets fucked into being gone out of turn (and will have to deploy again when it is their turn, this is just extra time.) Now a guys career is pretty much over even if he's proved innocent, as that suspicion always leave the stain. All because the girl wanted to rotate out early, or didn't want her husband to find out she was cheating, or would rather be thought of as a victim rather than taking responsibility for their own behavior.

Every girl I know, and I mean EVERY girl I know has the story about how they got raped. I'm not going to say that a rape victim is lying, but is this some kind of rite of passage or something? Either ever man in America is a rapist or someone is a hell of a time manager. And every girl I know uses this as an excuse for some kind of psychotic behavior. Now I'm not minimizing the trauma of rape or abuse, but when does it stop being a crutch or a get out of responsibility free card? Bad things happen to guys too, ladies, and we don't whine about it nearly as much.
