i thought for sure this thing wouldnt pass, the governator being a biker supposedly, and he's on his way out. kinda like a big "screw u" cali bikers.

so...does that mean that theres no db limit on 2012 and older bikes?

The law says that you have to display the EPA Noise Pollution Label of 80db, not that it has to be 80 db. So you just take the label off of the OEM can and put it on ur D&D Problem solved.

It would hurt them because which bike would you buy, a 2012 or a 2013? Simple.

And fewer new riders are going to be interested in becoming riders after 2013, if they know bikes can't be modified. Unless they want to keep buying old bikes.

What the hell do noise levels have to do with the EPA?

What about air horns? 18 wheeler engine braking? Gun shots? Live music? Or the million other things that are way over 80db?

Well this sux imho. At least it's for bike manufactured after 01/2013 and won't apply to curent bikes.
