Maybe it's my lack of appropriate physical conditioning or just that I've never had a properly outfitted bike, but for me even the amount of miles it takes to get out of Texas from where I am is as many as I care to spend on the road.
Camping in addition to that?
Meh... I like the 'charm' of the outdoors, but I like a soft mattress under me and a little air conditioning way more.

I have never been camping. And as much as I like to think that I am tough, who I am I kidding? I'll take a hotel room please, with a pillowtop mattress. Preferably at the Mandarin Oriental.

Absolutely this!

Although I do like to camp and have done it on numerous motorcycling trips. If the trip is longer than a few days...give me a nice hotel.

The romance of motorcycle camping sounds alot better than it is in real life.

After riding 600 miles a day, the last thing I want to go is dig out my camping gear, put up a tent, roll out a sleeping bag, etc etc.

I'll take a nice hotel room, a restaurant next door, and a steak with a tasty beverage thanks.

Overnight camping isn't out, but not on my annual long trips.
At least Wyatt and Billy had some weed.
