I've flown plenty. The worst was to germany to LA and back. Wasn't as bad as it could have been because I had family arond and not strangers. Fucking stewardesses need to learn to drive the damn carts. Several trips from PA to NC which bounced from minor airpors through hubs. The smaller prop planes were more fun than the big jets. Had one or two joy rides in a small private prop- very cool. Still kind of cramped, but you can actually see! Like moving from a blacked out minivan to a motorcycle.

I got that just the other week. All I did was tell them exactly what I was reading. For some reason, Tom Clancy style near future military fiction causes obnoxious people to lose all interest.

No Shit?! My pops did the very same thing for years. Sounds like a blast- the best way I've ever heard of to travel. Well, short of flying yourself.

I've heard $200/hr.

I'd get a boner if I could fly in a military jet. Would love to be in the F-14 but I'll also take the F/A-18, F-16, F-15, so on and so on.

I've been a couple places, but they were all when I was younger. Hoping to go visit Germany in the next few years. Hopefully I have a layover in Amsterdam.

Yup. Let me just go walk onto a military base and hop into a jet or hell, I'll just mosey on over to Nasa and hop into a space shuttle.

I think it's fairly horrific, and domestic first class isn't really worth it in my opinion. I use frequent flier upgrades to get domestic first class, but I'd really only pay for it if I was going overseas.

Economy is pretty uncomfortable for me and I am tiny, I don't know how the rest of the world does it.

I can't afford 1st class to fly oversees. The couple of times I have flown first class was oversees but it was paid for.

The price difference is ridiculous (can be thousands of dollars on some flights).

I've only ever flown coach and I've never had a problem. Unless you're super tall, I really don't get the bitching about it.

I've been lucky enough to get first class upgrades a couple of times for free. I think one time was because the gay guy working the gate thought I was cute so he put me in first class when I asked if there was anything closer to the front of the plane. The other time, I think the woman felt sorry for me because they fucked up my flight reservation.
