Me too! My Mom strapped my left hand to my side to prevent me from using it.

My kid starts school next year. I plan on riding to the school in my winter gear, sitting down with the principle, and setting up an understanding. Kaneman, I support you. Some shit like this happens to my kid, and I'm kicking somebody's ass. No questions, no negotiations, I'm wading in with a 55 gallon drum of whoopass and leaving when it's empty. My kid does something fucked up, you call me in and we'll talk about it. Weird, draconian punishments are not acceptable. His daycare has already had a couple of clarifying run-ins with me, and I believe it was a learning experience for them. I refuse to handle real school any different.

Ok Kaneman, the only reason the school caved was for the fear of getting sued. "Being the boss" had nothing to do with it. LOL

I eat better and more consistent than maybe a handful of you on this forum. If the lunch was only 1 time, then just suck it up and feed the kid when he gets home. One day is not going to make a difference to a 7 year old.

I'd like to see what you feed him each day...please post it up.

I don't give a fuck why they caved, they caved and that's all that matters.

I feed him good quality food, it varies day by day. Lots of veggies, lean meats, etc. etc.

I'm not sucking anything up, I got my way, he ate good....all is well. You want I should go back in time and give in?

My kid eating shitty food for something that's not his fault? I don't give a fuck how many days it is or how old he is, not gonna happen. My kid needs to grow up big and strong, don't fuck with his nutrition. I'm on your side, kaneman.

With you as a father... I don't see "big and strong" in his future.

I see this more as "standing on principle" more than actually thinking that one meal is going to magically make the kid change body composition or body nutrient levels.

I'm assuming this was only one meal though.
