I actually got up a lil later then two hours, I believe I woke up about 40 mins before the race lol we live about 1:2 miles from the finishline and the race runs right in front of our house, which was cool and modivated me to really run strong the last 3 miles

As far as goals, I was totally ok with anything less then 3:00, my new bench mark will be a sub 2:30 next year

Damn. I wish I could sleep in that long, although I found I run better if I get up early.

That is great you are going to do it again next year. More training will not only help you drop the time but also make the recovery easier.

Don't go nuts with it, we only get so many clock cycles. Save some for later.

Gotta hand it to ya though, I wouldn't run unless shit was chasing me.
