i never got the notice that 9V batteries are now fucking TEN DOLLARS

home depot - it says lithium on it, but it doesn't say rechargeable - it was the only one hanging with the rest of the batteries. $9.xx !

That's why. Li-ion put can put out more current, withstand vibration/harsh environments better, and last longer than standard batteries.

Regular 9V batteries are still ~2.50, I think.
