Default I think I broke my little toe

My parents have a child gate at the bottom of the stairs when they're watching a friends kid. I always step over it. Today, I kicked it HARD as I was stepping over. My little toe is swollen as big as my thumb and hurts like a motherfucker. I don't think I've ever been this big of a pansy about something, but dayum, this fucker HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, I did this about 4 hours ago.

Pic is farther down the thread, if you care to see it.

Broken toes suck. Ice pack and a bottle of Crown Royal and you're all set.

Oh the suck - I've broken mine in the shower. Hurts like a MudderFucker.

Tricks - put some gauze between your toes when you tape them together. And, be careful to not twist your knee when you walk with a limp.

The sad things is that this is just about all that you can do

Yeah, it's swollen and bruised right now. If it turns black or purple, I'll be sure to post pics. I'm alternating between ice and heat. Thanks for the gauze tip. It sucks that nothing more can be done, but I already knew that so there is no point in going to a doctor. Thanks for the tips on being cautious when limping, as I've been doing quite a bit of that already.

Lies.

Prescription pain meds are an excellent reason to go to the doctor
