Yeah I hear ya on the typical shyness of women.... But, as a gentlemen first and instructor second, I always make sure I give the ladies plenty of 1-on-1 instruction.......................
Oh man, I almost said that with a straight face!  Seriously though, I'm glad to hear ya had a good experience. Shows that not all "women only" events are just butterflies & roses  Glad to hear you got a lot out of it!
