So you like the Akuma better then the HJC carbon fiber? I've had the HJC carbon fiber helmet for about 2 years now. I absolutly love it. I just got an Arai Hayes replica and that's amazing. They both vent great and are super light.
I picked up an Akuma at a local dealership and was shocked at how heavy it was in comparison.

Actually the HJC AC-12 carbon fiber is the lightest helmet on the market (as of 2007). It weighed a few grams less then the Arai RX7 Corsair.
Both of those are even lighter then a Sumoy. Plus Suomy is having financial issues right now and not even honoring warranties.

I dig my ac-12 I got a year ago. Light, comfortable, breathable. The aftermarket visors suck though. The stocker is great for fog so whatever hjc puts on those visors is great, but the aftermarket from motorcyclesuperstore.com sucked.

This is retarded but HJC offers some of it's visors in nofog and regular configurations. Who wouldn't want no fog? I have a gold chrome (reg),a smoke(no fog),a smoke gradient(no fog) and a high visability(no fog). I think you just need to get a smoke no fog and you'll be happy!
