I have the Driven grips and they work very well for me. They are not all aluminum but have aluminum inserts. I like them. I have also owned the MoMo carbon fiber grips (actually, I still have them) which have leather inserts, also nice grips. Solid aluminum grips are textured to provide grip, btw... I would think that vibration would be a problem.
 Oh and my GF ordered cheap grips from China...yea not good...Driven
