I agree, it came out nice, but it's time to either paint it something equally garish, or rethink the overall color co-ordination effort.

Paint it gloss white. It'll match, give it a very finished look, and wipe down nice too.

Thanks guys. While white would look good and give it the overall HGTV little kid's room look. I'm going to do something completely opposite. My 7 year old will get to paint it this summer. She gets to pick the color or colors and make it her own.

Serve both functions, and ensure a finished, color-coordinated result by:

1) Painting entire bed gloss white, as a base.

2) Arming kid with proper assortment of pre-chosen colors on the correct palette for the room for "custom adornment".
